Three pupils were taken to hospital on Tuesday morning after a bus struck a railway bridge in Newport, south Wales, GB News reports.
Gwent Police said officers were called to Tregare Street at about 7.45am. Fire crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service also went to the scene. The children's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road was closed after the collision, with diversions set up for drivers. Transport for Wales said rail services between Newport and Hereford would be disrupted until around 11am, with some trains cancelled in both directions while the bridge was checked. Police have not yet said how the crash happened, and further details are expected.
