Allies of Argentine senator Patricia Bullrich have denied she is preparing to break with President Javier Milei, as the two prepare for talks amid reports of growing tension in the ruling party. Bullrich, a former security minister who now leads La Libertad Avanza's Senate caucus, has publicly disagreed with the government on economic policy, press relations and foreign affairs. The latest friction came after she claimed credit for relief measures for small businesses announced by Economy Minister Luis Caputo, then posted a photo of a meeting with her closest allies, which officials reportedly saw as a challenge to Milei. Government sources say a split cannot be ruled out after Pope Leo XIV's visit. A source close to Bullrich said she would do what it takes to stop Peronism winning.
