One Nation is requiring guests at a $3,000-a-head fundraiser in central Sydney next week to sign a non-disclosure agreement, Guardian Australia reports.
Invitations seen by the outlet say donors will meet Pauline Hanson, national director James Ashby, federal MP Barnaby Joyce and other senior figures at the four-hour event at an undisclosed venue. The agreement bars guests from revealing who attended or what was discussed, and from sharing photos or comments with the media, with the obligations continuing after the night.
Senior sources in Labor and the Liberal party told the paper such agreements are unheard of at their own fundraisers. Transparency International Australia's chief executive, Clancy Moore, said asking paying guests to stay silent raised serious transparency questions before an important state election.
