Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 election and handed over 30 vehicles for campaigning in Imo State, Premium Times reports.
Speaking through Kestin Pondi, managing director of his firm Tantita Security Services, at the launch of a pro-Tinubu door-to-door movement on Tuesday, Tompolo praised the president as courageous and said he needed more time to see his economic reforms through.
Imo’s governor, Hope Uzodimma, who is secretary of the governing APC’s presidential campaign council, thanked him for the support. Mr Uzodimma said the administration had made progress but still had work to finish, and argued that a second term would allow the president to complete his programme, which he said Nigerians were increasingly coming to appreciate.
