Norwegian police have issued an international wanted notice for the man suspected of stabbing a woman in a car park in Oslo's Bjørvika district on Saturday afternoon, NRK reports.
The suspect, a man in his 30s, has been charged in his absence with grievous bodily harm. Head of investigations Thomas Pedersen Enger said the notice reflected the man's links abroad, but would not say which countries were involved because the search was still under way. No arrests have been made.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, is seriously but not critically injured. Police say the two have a family-type relationship and that the suspect was already known to them. Officers are reviewing electronic evidence and interviewing witnesses to establish what led to the attack.
