Mexico public fiscal balance showed a deficit of 959.6 billion pesos, about US$51.5 billion, for January to September 2026, The Rio Times reports, citing Finance Ministry tables released late October.
The figure compares with 737.3 billion pesos through August and 727.7 billion pesos a year earlier. It is the budget balance plus entities under indirect control, slightly smaller than the headline budget deficit of about 968.5 billion pesos.
Hacienda publishes the series roughly a month in arrears; October data are next. The widening gap is being watched as markets track Mexico public finances into year-end.
