Heavy overnight air attacks continued between Russia and Ukraine as diplomats in Brussels restarted talks on Friday about reconstruction and long-term security once the war ends. Moscow claimed air defences destroyed close to five hundred incoming Ukrainian drones. In Russian-occupied Luhansk, local authorities said a strike on a bus left five dead and thirteen hurt. The Associated Press dispatch carried by 1News said the fresh violence highlighted how large the rebuilding task remains.
