Russian strikes over the past day killed four people and injured 78 across Ukraine, the Kyiv Independent reports, citing regional officials.
Early on Saturday a drone hit a block of flats in Kyiv's Obolon district, starting a fire and injuring two people. On Friday an attack on Chernihiv with drones and a low-cost cruise missile killed one man and injured at least 25.
Deaths were also reported in the front-line cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in Donetsk region and in Dnipro. Injuries were recorded in the Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa and Sumy regions, including several children.
Ukraine's air force said Russia launched 126 drones overnight, 61 of them jet-powered, and that 101 were brought down. Russia has stepped up production of jet-powered drones this year, which are harder to intercept, though Ukraine says its success rate has improved over the past month.
