Resellers in mainland China are lowering their prices for Apple's new iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable phone, after early buyers raised concerns about durability and software bugs, the South China Morning Post reports.
At Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei electronics market, one trader on Monday knocked 2,800 yuan (about $420) off a black 1-terabyte model, among the most sought-after versions, asking 24,300 yuan compared with more than 25,000 yuan when the phone went on sale on Friday.
The cuts came just three days after the launch, as early consumer reviews questioned the phone's durability and reported software glitches.
