Prosecutors have urged a jury to convict Tommy Robinson of harassing two Daily Mail journalists, telling the court that Britain is not a "vigilante world", The Guardian reports.
Robinson, 43, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, denies two counts of harassment causing fear of violence in 2024. The charges relate to a video in which he told the reporters he knew where they and their families lived, after they wrote about his alleged influence on that summer's riots.
In his closing speech, prosecutor Ben Holt said Robinson never asked for a photo of his ex-wife to be removed and instead threatened people and behaved like a bully. Defence barrister Alisdair Williamson KC told jurors his client's fear for his family was real and that he had shown some restraint. The trial continues.
