The United States will bring Russian and Ukrainian delegations together in Abu Dhabi on 10 and 11 November for a new round of working-level talks on ending the war, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported. US special envoy Steve Witkoff said the discussions would cover post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian issues and next steps towards peace.
Vladimir Putin agreed to the three-way format after meeting Witkoff in St Petersburg two weeks ago. The last such talks were held in February, before the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran interrupted diplomacy. A temporary ceasefire last week let residents of occupied Oleshky receive aid or leave, but the Kremlin has signalled it is not ready for a wider truce. Analysts interviewed by the broadcaster warned against expecting a breakthrough, citing the wide gap between the two sides.
