The airline Norwegian will start a direct route between Oslo Gardermoen and Seville in southern Spain next spring, The Local Norway reports.
Flights will run twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 20 March to 16 June 2027. The route will then pause over the peak summer months before returning from 18 August until 30 October. Each journey takes about four hours, and The Local said it found return fares below 1,000 kroner on the cheapest ticket type.
Andalusia is one of the most popular parts of Spain for Norwegian holidaymakers, and the airline said Seville's culture, architecture and food would appeal to its customers. Norwegian will also fly to Seville from Copenhagen, and plans a summer route from Copenhagen to Santiago de Compostela, the end point of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
