Australia are on the verge of a heavy defeat in their Test against South Africa in Gqeberha after being bowled out for 99 in their first innings and made to follow on, Daily Maverick reports.
The left-arm seamer Marco Jansen took five wickets for 33 in 11 overs as 13 wickets fell on the fourth day. South Africa had declared on 425 for nine, giving them a lead of 326.
Captain Temba Bavuma enforced the follow-on despite losing the fast bowler Anrich Nortje to a groin injury early in the day. By the close Australia had reached 156 for four in their second innings, still 170 runs behind, with Travis Head unbeaten on 87. South Africa need six more wickets on the final day to win.
