Nigel Farage has rejected a run of opinion polls suggesting Reform UK has slipped into third place, accusing pollsters of what he called “jiggery-pokery”. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the Reform leader claimed his party's unweighted figures put it about four points ahead of the Conservatives, and argued the published numbers were meant to steer the next general election back into a two-party contest between Labour and the Tories. Surveys released this week, including one from YouGov, placed Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives three points ahead of Reform. GB News reported that leading polling firms reject his claims and say Reform's support has fallen since it peaked at 31 per cent in September 2025, while Labour has recovered to around 29 per cent. Mr Farage also said Donald Trump's midterm setback showed the cost of breaking promises on foreign wars.
