Meta has released an AI fashion app called Style Sketch that suggests outfits built from clothes users already own, TechCrunch reports.
The app can create a virtual wardrobe from photos a user has posted on Instagram, or from pictures and short videos added by hand. It then proposes outfit combinations and lets users see them on a model matched to their body shape and skin tone. It can also plan clothes for a trip, using the destination, length of stay, activities and weather forecast.
Style Sketch is available on iOS and Android in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Meta did not respond to TechCrunch's request for comment, and it is unclear whether it will launch more widely. The app is one of several experimental AI products Meta has released in recent months as it tries to ship more apps.
