At least 100 voters from two polling booths in Delhi's Okhla constituency were wrongly listed as absent, moved, dead or duplicated during a special revision of the electoral rolls, according to a public audit of 258 households reported by The Hindu. The findings were presented at a public hearing in the Batla House area on Sunday, organised by civil society groups, where more than 150 people registered to put their cases to a panel of Supreme Court advocates and transparency campaigners. Okhla had more than 185,000 voters on its draft roll, with over 67,000 placed on a notice list. Among those affected was a 74-year-old retired engineering professor who said he had lived at the same address for more than 50 years but was marked untraceable.
