About three hours later, at around 3.10am, police were called to Goldfinch Street in Ohakune, where a man had been stabbed in the arm. He was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police have not said whether anyone has been arrested and have not suggested the two attacks are linked. Inquiries into both incidents are continuing.
