The United States has sanctioned two men and a company accused of helping Iran obtain man-portable air-defence systems, The National reported, citing the State Department. Targets include Mohammed Ali Tolibov of Belarus-based Armoury Alliance, Russia-based Alisher Domullodzhanov, and Nigeria’s Vanguard Tactical Supply. Washington said the network sought Chinese-sourced shoulder-fired weapons able to down helicopters and some combat aircraft. The move tightens pressure on Iran’s air-defence procurement channels amid the wider regional conflict.
