Kylian Mbappe scored twice, once from the penalty spot, as Real Madrid beat Sevilla 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, a week before they face La Liga leaders Barcelona, Al Jazeera reports. Arda Guler opened the scoring with a strike into the top corner and Yan Diomande added a fourth after Manu Bueno had pulled one back for Sevilla.
Real played without the suspended Vinicius Jr, and Eder Militao returned as a late substitute for his first appearance since hamstring surgery in April. The win, Real's third in a row in all competitions, lifted Jose Mourinho's side to third with 21 points, six behind Barcelona. Barcelona had beaten Real Betis 5-2 the day before to make it nine league wins from nine this season.
