OpenAI brings its models to Google Cloud, now on all three big cloud providers

·

OpenAI will make its AI models available to developers through Google Cloud, despite years of rivalry between the two companies, CNBC reports. The GPT models are due to appear in Google's model garden and its Antigravity coding tool in the coming weeks.

The move means OpenAI's models will be offered on Amazon, Microsoft and Google, the three largest cloud providers. Less than six months ago Microsoft lost its exclusive licence to OpenAI's technology, and Amazon announced plans to host the models the following day.

CNBC says the deal reflects OpenAI's push to win business customers beyond its consumer base as it courts investors at a reported $1.4 trillion valuation and prepares for a possible stock market listing. Google's cloud revenue growth accelerated to about 82% in the second quarter, and all three providers report results next week.
