Cabin crew working under the SAS Link agreement in Norway will go on strike from Wednesday next week after rejecting a proposal from the state mediator, NRK reports.
Members of the Fellesforbundet union voted clearly against the mediator's offer on Friday, meaning the walkout by cabin staff will go ahead.
Union negotiator Dag-Einar Sivertsen said members had made it plain that they did not believe the proposal gave a good enough basis for future pay and working conditions, and that the union respected their decision.
The strike affects cabin staff covered by the SAS Link deal. NRK's report did not say how many flights or passengers are likely to be affected. Travellers booked with SAS from next Wednesday may want to check the status of their flights.
