President Donald Trump has said he will make sure any remaining problems with Ukraine's military Starlink service, Starshield, are resolved, and may call Elon Musk if they continue, the Kyiv Independent reports.
Trump told reporters on Thursday that he had not spoken to Musk but had heard the issue was fixed. The Wall Street Journal had earlier reported that he ordered Musk on 21 October to lift restrictions that cap the terminals' use at speeds of around 160km/h.
Ukrainian officials told the Kyiv Independent the terminals were still not working properly, with one senior official saying nothing had changed. Ukraine relies on Starshield to guide interceptor drones against Russia's jet-powered drones, and the dispute has raised questions over whether Washington or SpaceX controls the service.
