Two people, including a suspect, have died after a shooting on Wednesday at Citibank's large office campus in the Tampa area of Florida, PBS NewsHour reports, citing the Associated Press. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said more than 360 deputies were sent to the site, which has four three-storey buildings housing thousands of the bank's employees.
Television pictures showed long lines of workers leaving the buildings as officers searched them floor by floor, finding staff sheltering in locked rooms and cupboards. Sheriff Chad Chronister said investigators believed it was a targeted incident. It was not immediately known whether anyone else had been hurt. Citigroup said it was aware of an incident at the complex and was co-operating with the authorities. The father of one employee told the AP his son had fled after hearing gunshots.
