Vålerenga won 1-0 away at Bodø/Glimt on Saturday, a result that could let Viking open a three-point lead at the top of Norway's Eliteserien, NRK reports.
Lucas Ravn-Haren scored the only goal after 65 minutes at Aspmyra, and Vålerenga, who have struggled near the relegation places this season, kept a clean sheet in the league for the first time since March. Bodø/Glimt pressed for long spells and missed a late chance when Ole Sæter blocked a shot from Sondre Brunstad Fet.
Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen told TV 2 his side could have played on for hours without scoring and criticised how they had attacked. Viking can move three points clear by beating Tromsø on Sunday, before travelling to Bodø next Friday. The fixture echoes last November, when defeat to Vålerenga cost Glimt the title.
