President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump cast their midterm votes in person in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Saturday, CBS News reports.
They voted at the county Supervisor of Elections building on the first day of early voting in Florida, which runs until Halloween. Earlier in the week the president had said he prefers to vote on Election Day. In recent elections he has voted by post, despite his criticism of widespread mail-in voting.
After voting, Mr Trump flew to Georgia for a rally in Perry in support of Republican Representatives Mike Collins and Rick Jackson. He has been travelling on most days to campaign for Republican candidates, with events this week in South Carolina, Iowa and Fort Myers, Florida.
