Lithuania's prime minister, Mindaugas Sinkevičius, says there is no doubt that the drone which exploded on Sunday and damaged a moving car entered the country from Poland, and that the evidence shows it was of Ukrainian origin, Notes from Poland reports. Ukraine has apologised, saying Russian electronic jamming pushed the drone off course during an operation against targets in Russia.
Poland's defence ministry says its radar did not confirm anything crossing the border, and the Polish broadcaster Polsat cited sources suggesting the drone took off inside Lithuania. Nato jets based at Šiauliai were scrambled again on Monday morning after another unidentified object entered Lithuanian airspace.
