More than 400 people are expected to protest outside the US embassy in London on 31 October in defiance of the ban on Palestine Action, Al Jazeera reports, with a parallel event planned at the US consulate in Edinburgh.
The campaign group Defend Our Juries says more than 3,850 people have been arrested for showing support for Palestine Action since it was proscribed as a terrorist organisation in July 2025. Organisers chose the embassy to highlight what they suggest was US pressure behind the ban, which followed the vandalism of Donald Trump's Turnberry golf course.
The protest comes days before the Supreme Court hears co-founder Huda Ammori's appeal on 4 and 5 November, after the Court of Appeal sided with the government in June. The government says the group's break-ins and damage at defence sites meet the legal test for proscription.
